Color Sensor Module TCS230 color recognition sensor

Module equipped with 4 white LEDs and based on the TAOS chip TCS230, a light-frequency color converter. The latter is composed of 16 photodiodes with blue filters, 16 with green filters, 16 with red filters and 16 unfiltered. All photodiodes of the same color are connected in parallel. When an object is placed at the front of the module, at a distance not exceeding 10 mm, this is illuminated by the 4 white LEDs and the reflected light will hit the 64 photodiodes, obtaining a Duty Cycle 50% output A frequency directly proportional to the intensity of the reflected light. The full-scale output frequency can be adjusted to one of the three preset values ??available via two control input pins. Digital inputs and digital output allow you to interface directly with Arduino or other logic circuits. S2 and S3 feet are used to select which group of photodiodes (red, green, blue, clear) are active.
