Ultimaker is a very popular controller board used in DIY 3D printers. It is possible to use this board with all tha boards contains Arduino Mega’s pinout by doing nothing else after your plug it onto your Arduino Mega. Ultimaker, Mendel and Prusa compatible Ramps allows control of 5 seperate stepper motor.

It is possible to use 5 A4988 motor driver board to control these stepper motors. The products does not include motor drivers. Ramps supports 5 different stepper motors; 1 for X axis, 1 for Y axis, 2 for Z axis and 2 for extruders. Additionally, it has 3 heater outs and 3 limit-switch inputs. Lastly, wiring of the Ramps compatible LCD screen is fulfilled by the particular connector on the board.

• Includes a 12V regulator for an (always on) fan to cool the electronics.
• A PWM output with power for LED arrays and other lighting
• LCD backlight dimming can now be software controlled
• A serial I/O header for Bluetooth and Ethernet add-ons.
